Own Dan's first four solo albums in digital .WAV files! Package includes:
Morcel (2010)
Dan's first home-recorded solo album. This was recorded while Dan lived in the Westdale neighbourhood of Hamilton, ON over the course of 2008-2010. Many of these songs were early versions of what would become Toadhouse songs. The almost fully instrumental album is raw and full of experimentation, as well as Dan's unique bass playing. It also features Dan's collaboration with guitarist/live looper Sam Klass.
Out There (2020)
A decade later, a lot in the world had changed. After not pursuing any other solo work until 2018, Dan started working on his live looping and playing solo shows. By the time the world shut down, Dan had a growing repertoire of weird psychedelic sounds, so he took the opportunity to record some ideas. Each song was a fully live performance with no overdubs. The name, Out There refers, predictably, to the weird sounds that were used on these songs, but was also a reference to the outside world, which felt unsafe at the time of recording.
Glow in the Dork (2023)
With a set of new songs figured out, Dan got right back to home recording over the course of 2021-2023. This album is a return to the multi-track form, but also draws heavily on Dan's newer live looping material. A couple of these have never been performed live, although The Swirling Clouds of Time has made it into live Orbit sets.
Live at the Casbah Lounge (2023)
The live recording of the album release party for Glow in the Dork. This features material from both Out There and Glow in the Dork, as well as some cool covers.
